Mock Trial

 

Mock Trial is a fantastic opportunity for students who are interested in learning about the U.S. judicial system, public speaking, professionalism and becoming a lawyer. Students are placed in teams and given a case created by the PA Bar Association. They must then plan both a prosecution and defense, act as lawyers and their witnesses and conduct the case in a court-appropriate manner. Mock Trial is a long-term commitment with positive learning outcomes. It is led by both a supervising teacher as well as a consulting lawyer. There are both local and state competitions throughout January and February.
