Programming Club

The Programming Club is focused on developing and sharing our passion for everything technology.  Our goal is to develop teamwork and critical thinking skills to compete in technology-related competitions.  Programming experience is not required to join the club.  At meetings, club members will compete in teams with logic puzzles and programming training and challenges.  Additionally, members will have the opportunity to listen to a technology-related presentation from guest speakers or club leaders.

Programming Club meetings are held twice per month on Thursdays in Mrs. Klosky's room (419) from 2:45 to 3:45.  To stay updated, make sure to join our Google Classroom with the code: G777R5K

Since 2019, our club has organized and hosted a full-day Hackathon entitled Hack the Ram. Hack the Ram is a 12-hour invention marathon held yearly in January. Participants with any level of programming or hardware experience are invited to collaborate to create a technology project from scratch.  The event is open to all 7th-12th graders in the Pittsburgh area. Hack the Ram is completely free for participants and will include lunch and dinner provided by our sponsors. Visit www.hacktheram.com for more information.
