Forensics

Forensics is an afterafter-school that fosters the growth of personal and competitive public speaking skills. Students develop competencies in argumentation and debate, current affairs, dramatic and humorous interpretation, prose and poetry, and prepared orations. Practices are held after school every day in Room 221 from September through April and are open to all students, though students are by no means obligated to go every day or stay until 4:30. We are always open to new members, so interested students may stop by any day during the year. Inter-school competitions take place on Saturday throughout most of the year. In order to become a full member, a student must attend at least three tournaments. Please see our uploaded brochure for more specific information on competition events.
