PRHS Welcomes Nearly 100 in Past Grads and Staff Day

Ninety-five recent Pine-Richland High School graduates and retirees returned to school on December 19 for our annual Past Graduates and Staff Day.
Organized by Mrs. Jean Whalen, director of college and services, and Dr. Frank Hernandez, principal, today's event was aimed at bringing past graduates and retired staff members together to reconnect and gather valuable input on our school’s strengths and opportunities for improvement.
Approximately 85 graduates and 10 retired staff returned to campus to engage in meaningful roundtable discussions with staff and administration. The primary objective was to evaluate our school's impact on college, career and community readiness. By reflecting on the graduates' transitions to college and the workforce, Pine-Richland alumni provided invaluable data to help Pine-Richland High School maintain its status as one of Pennsylvania’s top-performing schools while identifying areas for strategic growth.
Past graduates and staff were treated to breakfast hosted by the PTO and Chartwells K12.
Following winter break, we will release a principal's message that overviews the input gathered from the graduates, and we will also share a PRTV documentary that focuses on the past and current experiences of many of the graduates. Stay tuned!
