Donate to the FBLA Workwear Donation Drive by March 7

PR-FBLA is hosting a workwear donation drive in partnership with Dress for Success Pittsburgh and Heyward House Craig’s Closet to help provide business casual and business professional attire for students and young professionals in our local area. Both organizations work to aid individuals in taking next steps such as applying for jobs, interviewing and obtaining internships. By providing the necessary attire, these groups help people build confidence and take next steps!

Specific needs include gently used clothing and accessories for late teens/young adults, including:

  • Suits

  • Suiting separates

  • Business casual attire

  • Ladies fashion scarves, handbags, jewelry, belts and dress shoes

  • Men's dress belts, ties and dress shoes

  • Include hangers if possible

Deadline: March 7

This effort is being led by junior Doug Van Meter. He shares, “Here at Pine-Richland and especially in FBLA, we are so fortunate to have the ability to wear this attire without any worry. Other people in our local area aren't as fortunate. I feel that it would be a great use of our platform to help as much as we can for those who aren't able to get the attire they need for presentations, clubs, internships, interviews and the workplace. I know I have a suit, business casual items and dress shoes that just no longer fit me. Giving this clothing instead of it sitting in my closet is a great feeling knowing it will benefit others.”
