Forensics Speech and Debate Team Places 1st in State Tournament

Pine-Richland High School’s Forensics Speech and Debate Team placed first in the Mid-Size School (11-20 entries) Overall Sweepstakes at the Pennsylvania High School Speech League State Tournament held March 20-21. Nine students also earned individual honors:
- Eshan Kazi (11), 2nd place, Humorous Interpretation
- Maddie Gross (12), 2nd place, Poetry
- Arrash Sheikh (12), 2nd place, Extemporaneous Speaking
- Saanvi Santpure (10), 2nd place, Commentary
- Sonaya Arora (10) and Bianka Roman (11), 4th place, News Broadcasting
- Anusha Chatterjee (10), 5th place, Programmed Oral Interpretation
- Krisha Thakkar (10), semifinalist, Prose
- Darren Lee (11), semifinalist, Storytelling
- Neil Kakkassery (12), semifinalist, Impromptu
