Hack the Ram is Looking for Sponsors and Volunteers
Hack the Ram, Pine-Richland High School’s sixth annual hackathon, is seeking sponsors and volunteers for our upcoming event on Saturday, March 29.
Hack the Ram is a free, 12-hour invention marathon designed for students in grades 6-12 across Allegheny County. Participants, regardless of their programming or technology experience, collaborate to create innovative technology projects from scratch. For those new to coding and technology, we offer engaging seminars to help them build foundational skills and develop successful projects.
By supporting Hack the Ram, your organization can make a meaningful impact in the community, fostering opportunities for students while connecting with the next generation of innovators. Our 2024 event welcomed 143 students and awarded prizes to over 24 competitors. Thanks to the generous support of local companies, Hack the Ram remains free of charge, increasing access to STEM and computer science education for students across the Pittsburgh region.
We are currently seeking:
- Company sponsorships to help fund the event
- Individual sponsorships to help fund the event
- Code mentors to guide participants during the hackathon
- Adult supervisors to ensure a smooth and safe event
- Contributions for participant tech goodie bags
- Seminar speakers to educate and inspire attendees
- Project judges to evaluate the incredible work of our participants
- Additional details are available in our Sponsorship Packet at www.hacktheram.com.
If you’re interested in supporting Hack the Ram or have any questions, please contact us at sponsor@hacktheram.com or vklosky@pinerichland.org.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to inspire and empower the next generation of innovators.
