National History Day Pittsburgh was held March 21-22 at the Heinz History Center. This is an annual regional competition that encourages middle and high school students to conduct creative, in-depth research on historical topics. The program fosters critical thinking and historical literacy by challenging students to explore a specific annual theme, with top regional performers advancing to state and national levels of competition. This year's theme was Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History.

Caroline, Bianka, Ella and Janya now advance to the state competition April 25-26 in Scranton.
