Sophomores Win NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Awards

Two Pine-Richland High School sophomores have earned awards from the National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT). These awards honor high school students for their computing-related achievements and interests, aptitude, and aspirations in technology and computing as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, persistence and future plans.

NCWIT aims to increase participation in the technology ecosystem through innovative programs and research that encourage engineering thinking early, encourage high school students to consider technical fields, and provide students a continuing community of support and opportunities for growth and achievement.
