Ninth-graders Tisha Joshi and Abheek Tuladhar have earned the highest scores in the state of Pennsylvania on practical piano performance examinations administered by the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.

Abheek earned the highest score in the state on the Level 4 exam. Tisha earned the highest score in the state on the Level 6 exam. This is Tisha's third consecutive year earning the highest score for her level.

The nationally standardized piano examination requires students to memorize three pieces of solo piano repertoire from different time periods, play technical requirements such as scales and etudes, and sight read, and also tests ear training.

Both students will receive a certificate of excellence from the Royal Conservatory of Music for earning the highest scores in Pennsylvania at their level.
