Two Pine-Richland High School A.W. Beattie students earned awards at the National Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Student Leadership Conference held in July in Washington, D.C.
Senior Reid Carter (early childhood education) earned gold for Public Policy Advocacy. Junior Tatiana Stedina (culinary arts) earned silver in Culinary Arts.
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization for students in family and consumer sciences education. More than 10,000 attendees from across the country gathered for the annual conference for competition, connection, and conversation.
