Pine-Richland Junior Selected for the Rensselaer Medal

Pine-Richland High School junior Eshan Kazi has been recognized as a Rensselaer Medal Award recipient for excellence in math and science education.
As a Rensselaer Medal recipient, Eshan is now eligible to receive a $40,000 per year merit scholarship that is guaranteed for four years if he chooses to attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute after graduation. Eshan was nominated for the award by his teacher, Dr. Michelle Switala.
The Rensselaer Medal has been presented annually since 1916 by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to recognize superior academic achievement and to encourage students toward careers in science, engineering and technology. Pine-Richland High School is one of more than 5,000 high schools across the world that submit student nominations for this prestigious award.
