Pine-Richland Marching Band Kicks Off WPXI's Band Together Initiative

Pine-Richland High School's Marching Band kicked off the back-to-school season with a feature on WPXI Channel 11’s morning news.

As part of WPXI’s Band Together initiative, local high school marching bands are being highlighted to celebrate the music, pride, and tradition of Western Pennsylvania schools. Pine-Richland was honored to lead off the region-wide program as the premiere featured performance on Monday, August 17, playing viewers out of the 6:00 am newscast.

The initiative highlights student musicians across the region as local communities gear up for a return to school routines and fall traditions.
