Senior Earns Certified Fundamentals Cook Certification

Recent Pine-Richland High School graduate Jessica Bui earned the prestigious Certified Fundamentals Cook (CFC) certification through the culinary arts program at A.W. Beattie this year.

Awarded through the American Culinary Federation, this industry-recognized credential requires students to master core culinary skills, including food safety, knife techniques and basic cooking methods, and to pass both written and hands-on practical exams. To achieve certification, Jessica completed rigorous coursework and demonstrated the ability to prepare and present dishes to professional standards.
