- Juniors will be able to access the Parking Permit application beginning 7:00 am on Thursday, August 1.
Submissions will not be accepted until the dates/times listed above. All applications must be completed using the online Google form and can be completed on any device that has internet access.
All students who apply for a parking permit will need to watch and acknowledge the PRHS Driving Guidelines Presentation.mp4. Watch this prior to submitting your application!
It is extremely important to follow all of the directions, read all of the information below and have all of your required documents accessible before completing the online form. All required fields of the survey must be completed for the application to be submitted. Students MUST have a valid driver’s license to apply for a Parking Permit. There are no exceptions.
The following documents and information are required:
- Student demographic information
- Student ID number
- Student school-provided email address
- Driver’s license number and issue date
- Vehicle make, model and color
- Vehicle license plate number
- Vehicle registration number
- Insurance company, policy number and policy effective date
- Parent/guardian contact information
- Electronic sign-off on driving guidelines form on Sapphire in the Community Portal
- NEW: Acknowledgement of watching Student Driving Guidelines presentation (linked above)
- NEW: Students will need to upload copies (separate pdf files) of their valid drivers license, insurance information, and vehicle registration (Saved as LastName_FirstName)
The cost of a parking permit is $60 per spot. All activity fees/school fees will need to be paid in full prior to receiving the parking permit. Please check Sapphire for any outstanding fees. If any of the above documentation is not provided, or fees are owed, you will not be given a parking pass.
There are a limited number of parking spaces available on the high school campus. Seniors will be given preference as permits are assigned. Students will be asked to select their preferred parking lot: Front Lot (Seniors Only), Softball Lot (Seniors Only) or Stadium Lot (Juniors and Seniors). Once assigned, the spots are non-transferable, so please be sure to consider items such as driving a middle school sibling(s), location of after-school activities and guidelines for arrival and dismissal before selecting your preferred parking lot. After all parking spots in the front of the building are assigned, students may be assigned a spot in the back Athletic Lot. Once all student spots have been assigned, a waitlist for parking will begin.
Students will be notified on the Google Form upon completion that the survey has been submitted to let you know your application has been received. This automated response does not guarantee a parking permit; it simply indicates we have received your information. All applications will be reviewed for accuracy, and parking permits will be assigned with preference given to seniors. Students will receive an email on Thursday, August 8, via their school-assigned email address that will explain if they have been assigned a parking permit and detail the times and location of when the student can pay for and pick up their parking permit.
Students who anticipate receiving their driver's license after the beginning of the year may apply for a permit only after passing their driver’s exam. If all spots have been assigned, the student’s name will be placed on the waiting list. As spots open for the year, they will be reassigned to students on the waiting list in the order in which applications were received.
2024 - 2025 Driving Guidelines
Please remember: Parking spaces are assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
